On October 7, 2025, the Green Tech Innovators Club took place at Lakeside Spitz Klagenfurt, an evening full of innovative ideas, exciting impulses, and valuable networking in the field of sustainable technologies. Prof. Wilfried Elmenreich and Emir Sinanović were invited as representatives of the AAU.
The event offered a varied series of keynote speeches on current topics of the future. Among other things, bio-based plastics for additive manufacturing, optimization and marketing of flexibilities in energy systems, the potential of wood as a material in mechanical engineering, and innovative approaches to sustainability and the circular economy were presented. The AAU presented exciting approaches to swarm intelligence in energy systems. Other contributions highlighted the role of energy management systems as conductors of decentralized energy networks.
In addition to the presentations, the evening was primarily dedicated to networking, exchange, and inspiration. This provided an opportunity for exciting discussions, insights into the participants’ current projects and research work, and enabled valuable contacts to be made. This allowed new ideas to be discussed and potential joint projects to be advanced.
