An der Fakult\u00e4t f\u00fcr Elektrotechnik und Informationstechnik der Technischen Universit\u00e4t Wien ist am Institut f\u00fcr Energiesysteme und Elektrische Antriebe eine Laufbahnstelle<\/strong> mit Qualifizierungsvereinbarung f\u00fcr eine\/einen Associate Professorin \/ Associate Professor <\/strong>f\u00fcr das Fachgebiet Elektrische Energieverteilsysteme<\/strong>in Form eines auf 6 Jahre befristeten, vertraglichen Dienstverh\u00e4ltnisses ab 01.04.2014<\/strong> zur Besetzung ausgeschrieben. Die Stelle beinhaltet im Bereich Forschung eigenst\u00e4ndige Arbeiten auf den Gebieten Automatisierte Verteilnetzf\u00fchrung unter Einbeziehung von Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien (Smart Grids), Einbindung erneuerbarer und dezentraler Energiewandlung und \u2013speicherung in das Energiesystem, Elektromobilit\u00e4t, Microgrids sowie Schutztechnik und den Aufbau einer eigenen Arbeitsgruppe.<\/p>\n

Der Schwerpunkt liegt dabei auf elektrischen Energieverteilsystemen, ihrer Planung, Modellierung, Simulation und Analyse sowie der Integration dezentraler erneuerbarer Energiequellen, energietr\u00e4ger-\u00fcbergreifender dezentraler Speichersysteme und der Nutzung von Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien f\u00fcr die automatisierte Verteilnetzf\u00fchrung.<\/p>\n

F\u00fcr die Stelle bestehen folgende Anstellungserfordernisse: Gesucht wird ein\/e international ausgewiesene\/r einschl\u00e4gig promovierte\/r Wissenschaftler\/in mit mehrj\u00e4hriger Erfahrung in einem oder mehreren der folgenden Forschungsgebiete:
\n– Auswirkungen dezentraler Energiewandlung auf Verteilnetzbetrieb und Netzschutz
\n– Integration dezentraler erneuerbarer Energiequellen und dezentraler Speichertechnologien in das Energiesystem
\n-Einbindung der Elektromobilit\u00e4t in die Energieversorgungssysteme
\n-Nutzung von Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien f\u00fcr Energieverteilsysteme
\n– Zuverl\u00e4ssigkeit, Resilienz und Inself\u00e4higkeit von Energieverteilsystemen
\n–\u00a0Echtzeitsimulation von Energieverteilsystemen und Microgrids<\/p>\n

und Erfahrungen in der Lehre und in der Betreuung von Bachelor-, Master- und Doktorats-Studenten\/innen.<\/p>\n

Von dem\/der erfolgreichen Bewerber\/in wird vorausgesetzt, dass er\/sie sich in der Pflichtlehre der Fakult\u00e4t f\u00fcr Elektrotechnik engagiert und eine eigenst\u00e4ndige wissenschaftliche Arbeitsgruppe aufbaut.<\/p>\n

F\u00fcr die Stelle ist eine Einreihung in die Gehaltsgruppe B1<\/strong> des Kollektivvertrages f\u00fcr Arbeitnehmer\/innen der Universit\u00e4ten, eine 40 Stundenwoche, und ein monatliches Mindestentgelt von derzeit \u20ac 3.411,70 (14 mal)<\/strong> vorgesehen. Nach Abschluss der Qualifizierungsvereinbarung erfolgt die Einstufung in die Gehaltsgruppe A 2<\/strong> und erh\u00f6hen sich diese Entgelte auf monatlich EUR 4.034,70 brutto (14x j\u00e4hrlich)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nThe Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology of Vienna University of Technology invites applications at the Institute of Energy Systems and Electrical Drives for a Tenure track position <\/strong>with qualification agreement for associate professor in the area of Electrical Energy Distribution Systems <\/strong>in form of a initially fixed-term (6 years) tenure track position starting from 01.04.2014<\/strong>. Research areas to be independently covered are automated distribution system operation including information and communication technologies (Smart Grids), integration of renewable and distributed energy resources into the energy system, electro-mobility, Microgrids as well as protection technology. The successful candidate is expected to initiate independent, creative research programs and to establish an own research group.<\/p>\n

A strong emphasis is placed on the broad fields of planning, modeling, simulating and analyzing electrical energy distribution systems as well as the integration of decentralized renewable energy resources, hybrid energy storage systems and application of information and communication technologies for automated distribution system operation.<\/p>\n

The following requirements<\/strong> for applications to this position exist. The successful candidate is expected to be an internationally recognized scientist with a PhD relevant to the field and perennial experience in one or several of the following research areas:<\/p>\n

– Impact of distributed energy resources on distribution system operation and protection
\n–\u00a0Integration of decentralized renewable energy resources and distributed storage into the energy system
\n–\u00a0Integration of electro-mobility into the energy system
\n– Application of information and communication technology in energy distribution systems
\n–\u00a0Reliability, resilience and island capability of energy distribution systems
\n–\u00a0Real time simulation of energy distribution systems and Microgrids
\nand experience and commitment to excellence in teaching and supervision of undergraduate, graduate and PhD students.<\/p>\n

The successful candidate is expected to participate in teaching according to the curricula of the faculty of electrical engineering and information technology and to establish an own research group.<\/p>\n

Salaries and benefits of the tenure track position are according to collective labor agreement for employees at universities, salary group B1<\/strong>, based on 40 hours per week<\/strong>, and a monthly minimum salary of currently \u20ac 3.411,70 (14 times per year)<\/strong>. After signature of the qualification agreement salaries and benefits are raised to salary group A2<\/strong> and thus monthly \u20ac 4.034,70<\/strong> (14 times per year).<\/p>\n
